The economic advisor of the Center (Hector Alexander) who invited me to undertake the study became the Minister of Economy and Finance of the incoming government. The study then became the background document for the 2019-2024 Economic Development Program (Programa Económico de Gobierno -- PEG) that I coordinated, the equivalent of other countries’ development programs. The PEG was approved by Cabinet at end 2019.
