Without a doubt, Robert S. McNamara was one of the most consequential presidents of the World Bank. Olivier Lafourcade, who was McNamara’s personal assistant during 1980-81, will discuss some of his experiences in that position.
Joining him will be John Heath, who conducted a joint oral history interview with Rainer Steckhan, Leif Christoffersen, Anders Ljungh, Sven Burmester, Caio Koch-Weser, and Olivier Lafourcade, all of whom served as personal assistants to McNamara.
