Members Helping Members (MHM) has updated the Handbook for Advance Planning by Retirees and their families for incapacity and the end of life. The checklist that helps us all keep track of our planning has also been updated.
In this interactive webinar, MHM will touch on the topics all retirees and their families face: planning for medical and end of life decisions to make; legal and financial planning and thinking about setting up an adequate support system in case of emergencies.
This is an interactive session where we discuss amongst ourselves the Handbook and the various topics. How are your colleagues dealing with these situations? How we can help each other work through the many steps required? Working through the checklist is hard work but being prepared has a big pay-off: Your family will love you for it.
Please note that the Handbook has mainly a US-focus and that questions pertaining to specific issues in countries outside the US may need more research on your part. Nevertheless, the questions and lots of information are absolutely useful and crucial for you even if you are outside the US.
