Ayhan Kose will present findings of the book: Global Waves of Debt-Causes and Consequences by Ayhan Kose, Pete Nagle, Franziska Ohnsorge, and Naotaka Sugawara. The book provides a comprehensive analysis of the recent development in the world debt market, an in-depth review of past experiences and a forecast of future scenarios.
The fastest growing segment of the world financial markets is the debt market both government and corporate debt. The rapid growth in US government debt is also most alarming. Debt of most developed countries carries negative interest rates or extremely low interest rates. The insights gained by the speaker through the research and the book should be of interest to our members especially those of you who were in the trenches during the Latin American and Asian crises
