To shed light on AI’s role in this field, two experts, Angelo Calvello and our GFTG member Arun Muralidhar, will share their insights on utilizing AI technologies. Join us for their presentation on Friday, April 19, at 4:30 pm Eastern Time.
Angelo Calvello has dedicated recent years to developing Rosetta Analytics’ advanced AI investment platform. Rosetta Analytics, an innovative asset manager, leverages sophisticated AI to create and manage dynamic investment strategies. The company’s deep reinforcement learning models autonomously discern data patterns and make predictions without human input.
During the session, Arun Muralidhar will discuss the intersection of investments, Big Data, and “Augmented” Intelligence, particularly focusing on its application in pension funds management.
About the Speakers:
- Angelo Calvello holds a PhD in Contemporary European Philosophy from DePaul University. He co-founded Blue Diamond Asset Management AG and has held pivotal roles at notable institutions such as Man Investments Inc., State Street Global Advisors, and the CME Group. His career began as an independent trader on the floors of the Chicago Board of Trade and the Chicago Board Options Exchange.
- Arun Muralidhar holds a PhD in Managerial Economics from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a B.S. from Wabash College. He is the founder of Mcube Investment Technologies LLC and AlphaEngine Global Investment Solutions, and serves as an adjunct professor of Finance at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. His experience includes roles at George Washington University and as an Academic Scholar at Georgetown University’s Center for Retirement Initiatives.
